Vinyl Siding

Vinyl siding is often portrayed as the classic double four horizontal running siding sticks, but vinyl siding comes in an array of styles and colors and can even be manufactured to resemble many natural materials. New vinyl siding is a great start to freshen up your house’s exterior and can really make your house standout. Vinyl wood shake, stone, and board and batten styles can be used to accent your house’s exterior layout.

Horizontal lap

Classic residential siding. The most popular style of siding and the most cost efficient. Style will vary across an array of designs from three inches wide all the way to eight inches wide, with the standard being a double four inch high plank.

Shake style

Vinyl representing hand cut wooden shake shingles. Vinyl siding imitating cedar shake can be some of the most expensive in the category. While it is available in a more cost effective 12 foot panel many come in small 2-3 foot shingles, this gives you a more detailed pattern in the section of wall you are accenting. Vinyl shake in shingle dimensions also tends to be thicker and some of the most durable siding on the market.

Board and Batten

Vertically ran siding panels with a larger inset space (7-12 inches) and a small skinny outset space (2 inches), Hence the term, Board and Batten. Like many types of siding B&B is a replica of a more dated style of siding once consisting of real lumber.
